Configure Multiple ASCOLTO Column Speakers over DANTE from a Single Project
The new AVE Line Array User Control software is now available and enables centralized configuration and management of ASCOLTO digitally steerable column speakers within a single project environment.
Multiple ASCOLTO column speakers can be configured and controlled directly over a DANTE network. Audio and control data are transmitted together via the same Ethernet infrastructure, eliminating the need for separate control wiring and significantly simplifying system planning, installation, and commissioning.
Full control of the ASCOLTO AH, LH, and FF series is carried out using the same network already employed for DANTE audio transport. Audio streams and control parameters share a single data connection, supporting efficient integration in modern, network-based audio systems.
The software follows a project-oriented workflow that allows multiple ASCOLTO column speakers to be configured and managed within a unified project environment. This approach is particularly suited to scalable installations and complex multi-device systems.
Each ASCOLTO column speaker supports advanced beam steering with up to five independently configurable beams. This allows sound coverage to be precisely adapted to different room geometries, audience areas, and usage scenarios, while maintaining high speech intelligibility even in acoustically challenging environments.
This software update addresses the requirements of modern system integration for DANTE-enabled ASCOLTO column speakers, supporting structured, centralized, and practical configuration of multiple devices.
